2024-11-22

The team strengthens as the SBA group’s real estate development company, Urban HUB, expands its projects. Lina Volodzkienė, who has amassed over 20 years of experience in real estate management, leasing, and development, is joining as the Head of Commerce and Development.

Head of Urban HUB Giedrius Muliuolis: “The Urban HUB projects in Kaunas and Vilnius are just the beginning of a new and exclusive real estate concept we are developing. Our goal and ambition are to develop the city of commerce and business hub further, not only in Lithuania but also in international markets. We emphasise our team, which is joined by a professional with extensive experience in property development and commercial project management. We believe that our new Head of Commerce and Business Development, Lina, will not only ensure 100% occupancy for projects in Kaunas and Vilnius but also successfully attract clients for the second phase of Urban HUB’s expansion and refine a concept that will thrive internationally”.

The new Head of Commerce and Development, Volodzkienė, has been the Head of the Leasing and Asset Management Department at Baltic RED, one of the most significant commercial real estate development and management companies, for the last five years. She was responsible for business development, investments, and attracting large anchor tenants there. Additionally, she spent eight years leading the Business Development Department at the Panorama shopping centre, overseeing the centre’s strategic development, creating concepts, and fostering synergy among tenants.

In addition to her professional activities, Volodzkienė is actively involved in research activities related to the challenges of society’s journey towards climate-neutral policies, which are closely linked to the SBA group’s objectives in developing real estate projects.

Lina Volodzkienė: “I joined the SBA team with confidence in the exceptional real estate projects being developed and ambitious plans for further development. The Urban HUB projects in Vilnius and Kaunas are already successfully filling up with tenants. About 70% of the space here is already occupied by prospective and modern businesses, so building a strong community is a key priority. In addition, we plan to start further development in Kaunas and explore opportunities abroad. Therefore, my accumulated experience will help me complete the project and assemble an exceptional team to achieve future goals”.

Almost 70% of the space in Kaunas has been leased in the first phase of the Urban HUB project, and the first tenants have already moved in. Most businesses are expected to open their doors by the end of the year. The second phase of Urban HUB is also rapidly taking off, offering another 28,000 sqm of modern retail, office and warehouse space, including an IKI supermarket, a pharmacy, cafes and speciality stores. With the Urban HUB Kaunas project, SBA Urban is also developing a modern retail, office and warehouse complex in Vilnius, near Ukmergės Street. Urban HUB Vilnius is planned to house more than 30 international and Lithuanian companies. Currently, over 65% of the space is leased.
