Vero Cafe café chain to open a new location in the Urban HUB in Kaunas
Vero Cafe, one of Lithuania’s largest coffe shop chains, will open a new 150 sqm café in the Urban HUB project in Kaunas by the end of summer. Here, the team will relocate the main production facilities, from where they will centrally deliver their self-produced savoury snacks and desserts to other Lithuanian cities – Vilnius, Klaipėda and Šiauliai. In addition, visitors will enjoy quality coffee and a variety of food.
Laura Vėželienė, founder of Vero Cafe: “We want this location to suit the needs of both our existing customers and the businesses that will establish in the vicinity. We aim to create a cosy atmosphere where guests can enjoy quality coffee and a brunch menu throughout the day. We chose Urban HUB because it is the most suitable location for creating a central production space. We were also impressed by the quality of the project, the concept and the focus on sustainability and energy efficiency”.
Rokas Adžgauskas, Head of Real Estate Leasing Projects at Urban HUB: “We are creating Urban HUB as a home for businesses. It’s about making it feel welcoming and cosy, not only for guests but also for employees. So, one of the largest café chains in Lithuania with an exclusive concept café only complements our idea. The Vero Cafe team is positive and constantly seeking innovations and efficient solutions. That is why the location of the project and convenient access to the A1 and A6 motorways will enable the team to access the cafes more conveniently and quickly throughout the country”.
Vero Cafe has been operating in Lithuania for 16 years and has over 40 cafés in its network. Over the last eight years, the team has focused on coffee and the accompanying goods, such as snacks, sandwiches, salads, and desserts.
Vėželienė concludes: “Because we are producing our food, we want to ensure that the products used are in accordance with our company values and the expectations of our clients and community. We use exceptional quality products, with no substitutes, sourced from local Lithuanian farmers and producers. We recognise that our clients appreciate this, so we have been searching for larger and more flexible premises to relocate our production. And just as importantly, the Urban HUB project will also leave room for innovations – in the future, we will have the opportunity to install additional equipment here. Together with Urban HUB, we have excellent conditions to grow, improve processes and expand our product assortment”.
